Golden Globes 2015: My Predictions vs. Winners

The 2015 Golden Globe Awards were held this week--and looking back on my predictions, it was a mixed bag, getting 52% correct. Sure, I've been in the 30-40% range before, which is terrible, so 52% isn't all that bad, but I went down after the past couple years of being at 64% in 2013 and 68% in 2014.

Here are the list of winners compared to my predictions:

My Prediction:

Best Actress--Comedy or Musical:

Best Director:

My Prediction:
Richard Linklater, Boyhood (+)

Best Screenplay:
Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo, Birdman
My Prediction:
Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel (-)

I should have just predicted Birdman since that's what everyone else was predicting, but I went out on a limb with Budapest since I did the same last year in this category by going with Her when no one else was and ended up winning; this time, though, I wasn't as lucky.

Antonio Sanchez, Birdman (-)

"Glory" by John Legend & Common, Selma
My Prediction:
